    • Reports To: Chief Skills Development Officer or relevant HRD manager
    • Location: Corporate Office, Bloemfontein
    • Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum
      (Plus: 13th Cheque, Home Owner Allowance, Optional Medical Aid – subject to prescribed requirements)
    • Job Type: Permanent

    Main Purpose of the Position:

    To assist in the planning, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of training and development initiatives within the department. Support compliance with the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and promote employee growth through targeted interventions.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Senior Certificate

    • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7), SAQA-recognised

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Skills Development environment

    • Valid Driver’s License and Driving Skills

    • Computer Literacy

    • Recommended: Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practitioner (ODETDP) Certificate

    Legislation & Frameworks:

    • Skills Development Act

    • Public Service Act and Regulations

    • Labour Relations Act

    • Constitution of South Africa

    • Skills Audit Methodology

    Skills:

    • Facilitation & Moderation

    • Report Writing & Analysis

    • Presentation and Research

    • Strong Communication (Verbal & Written)

    • Good Interpersonal Skills

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with compiling the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP), Annual Training Plan (ATP), Annual Training Report (ATR), and Skills Audit

    • Coordinate and support implementation of:

      • Planned training interventions

      • Compulsory training programmes

      • Developmental programmes

    • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of implemented training
