Key Responsibilities
- Perform Clinic Sister duties in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Monitor and enhance clinic performance by setting and achieving patient footfall objectives.
- Ensure the availability of all clinic services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure follow-up communication.
- Operate the clinic as per specified operational hours.
- Process claims accurately and promptly.
- Ensure clinic stock and equipment meet operational standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with patients, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Tertiary qualification in General Nursing.
- Degree/Diploma in Midwifery.
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- BHF registration (or willingness to obtain).
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Advantageous:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister.
- Knowledge of Patient Record Systems, CKS, and Allegra.
Competencies

- Expertise in community health nursing, primary health care, occupational health nursing, family planning, and related areas.
- Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
- Analytical skills for interpreting clinic statistics and commission data.
- Emotional intelligence, entrepreneurial mindset, and integrity.
- Time management and self-motivation.
Advantageous:
- Bilingual proficiency.
- Additional courses in Baby Immunisation, Family Planning, Primary Health Care, Breastfeeding, and Disease Management.
