PSG Financial Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Underwriter to join its Bethlehem office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Advisers with commercial underwriting functions, ensuring quality service delivery and accurate risk assessment in line with company standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide commercial underwriting support to Advisers

Liaise directly with clients and advisers

Prepare accurate quotations

Issue new policies, process renewals and endorsements

Record and maintain policy information on internal systems

Build and sustain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications:
-
Grade 12
-
NQF Level 4 – Full qualification in short-term insurance
-
RE5 certification completed
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial short-term insurance
-
Confirmation of DOFA from FSCA

Strong verbal and written communication

Excellent administrative and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused approach
