Supply and Delivery of Cleaning Materials, Cleaning Equipment and Toiletries
Free State Department of Social Development
The Free State Department of Social Development invites bids from qualified and capable service providers for the supply and delivery of cleaning materials, cleaning equipment, and toiletries for a period of three (3) years.
The purpose of this tender is to ensure that departmental offices and institutions across the Free State maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation through a reliable, continuous supply of approved products.
Scope of Work
The appointed service provider(s) will be responsible for:

Supplying and delivering cleaning materials (chemicals, disinfectants, gloves, refuse bags, brushes, etc.)

Supplying and delivering cleaning equipment (scrubbing machines, vacuum cleaners, mop trolleys, and related equipment)

Supplying and delivering toiletries (personal hygiene products, sanitary items, and accessories)
-
Deliveries to multiple departmental facilities and institutions across the province

Ensuring consistent availability of supplies throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities

Deliver goods according to approved specifications and schedules

Ensure products meet SABS or equivalent quality standards

Provide proper packaging, delivery notes, invoices, and compliance documentation

Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
-
Maintain reliable logistics and distribution capacity across districts

Provide after-sales support and technical assistance where required
Minimum Requirements
-
Proven experience in supplying cleaning materials and equipment
-
Capacity to manage bulk supply and multi-site delivery
-
Compliance with B-BBEE requirements
-
Financial stability to sustain supply for a 3-year period
-
Ability to meet government procurement and compliance standards
