Responsibilities:

Ensure correct usage and charting of stock and equipment
Qualifications:
Essential:
Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse, OR
4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
Desired:
Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-operative Nursing for specialist units)
Skills and Knowledge:
Patient assessment and care planning
Infection prevention and control
Scientific nursing principles and risk identification
Accurate nursing record-keeping
Basic life support training (ACLS, ATLS, PALS for specialized wards)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Understanding of pharmacology and relevant nursing legislation
