Position Summary:
As General Manager: Bloemfontein, you will lead the regional operations, overseeing sales, technical servicing, installations, and administration. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires strategic vision, operational discipline, and team-building expertise. You’ll be responsible for implementing business strategies, driving performance, and cultivating a high-performance culture to ensure sustainable growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:

Manage revenue and capital expenditure budgets

Optimize vehicle resource deployment and cost efficiency

Control overheads and staff-related costs
Sales and Business Development:

Achieve sales and retention targets
-
Drive new revenue streams and maintain profit margins

Develop business partnerships and regional channels
-
Expand operations into greenfield areas and assess acquisition opportunities
Branch and Operational Management:

Implement and communicate strategic plans
-
Oversee regional service delivery and operational effectiveness

Lead sales, technical, and admin teams

Report key performance metrics to head office

Manage client relationships and resolve escalated issues
People Management:

Build a performance-driven team culture

Mentor and develop team members

Promote communication and cross-functional collaboration
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field (Postgraduate degree advantageous)

7–10 years in a senior management role in Telecommunications or ICT

Proven experience in sales, customer service, financial analytics, and team leadership

Valid Driver’s Licence

Strong computer literacy, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (advanced preferred)
