As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for representing the Philips brand in designated retail stores, promoting its products, driving sales, and building strong relationships with both retailers and customers. Your role will be essential in increasing brand awareness and ensuring that Philips products are the top choice for consumers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Placement & Compliance
- Be stationed in specific retail stores based on the Philips Retail Store Base, ensuring full coverage and brand presence.
- Follow and comply with store policies, ensuring professionalism and adherence to all regulations.
2. Regular Meetings & Reporting
- Attend weekly meetings with the Regional Field Manager to discuss sales performance, concerns, and marketing strategies.
- Receive and distribute materials like Point of Sale Merchandise (POSM) and demo ingredients to enhance brand visibility.
3. Weekend Activations & Product Promotions
- Engage with customers through weekend activations, creating excitement and increasing foot traffic to Philips products.
- Conduct live product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Philips appliances.
4. In-Store Execution Excellence
- Ensure that Philips products secure the number one position in-store through strong merchandising and display techniques.
- Maintain accurate price tickets and promotions to prevent discrepancies.
5. Merchandising & Brand Representation
- Execute in-store merchandising strategies according to Philips and retail partner guidelines.
- Maintain consistency and ensure product displays are clean, attractive, and engaging.
- Build strong relationships with retail staff to encourage Philips product recommendations.
6. Professional Appearance & Customer Engagement
- Adhere to the Philips dress code, ensuring a neat and professional look at all times.
- Provide high-quality customer service, answering queries and guiding shoppers toward the best products for their needs.
7. Hygiene & Maintenance
- Ensure all demo products are in excellent condition, clean, and fully functional.
- Support retailers during Philips-sponsored events in stores.
What You Need to Succeed – Qualifications & Skills
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Education
- High school diploma (Matric) required
- Additional training in sales or marketing is a plus
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, or brand promotion is preferred
