Main Purpose of the Position:
To market and execute the company’s services and promote its image in the livestock industry. The aim is to maintain and grow market share, acquire new business, and operate profitably.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Agricultural diploma or degree (recommended)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a livestock marketing environment
Valid driver’s license
Skills Required:
Strong communication skills in Afrikaans and English
Good knowledge of livestock and the industry
Computer literate (MS Office suite)
Strong administrative capabilities
Excellent marketing, negotiation, and sales skills
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve turnover and profitability targets
Develop and maintain client relationships with both buyers and sellers
Represent the company in the community
Ensure compliance with and application of the company’s credit policy
Oversee an efficient and sustainable auction process
Supervise auction and marketing staff
Additional Notes:
This position requires mobility and hands-on involvement in auction and marketing activities
Candidates should have a passion for agriculture and livestock, with the ability to engage with both commercial and emerging farmers
