     Role Purpose

    This role supports the Store Manager in running daily store operations, ensuring sales targets, customer service, and team performance are consistently achieved.

     Key Responsibilities

     Stock Management

    • Receive, unpack, and replenish stock on the sales floor
    • Monitor stock levels and minimise stock loss
    • Maintain organised and clean stockroom
    • Approve returns, damages, and write-offs

     Sales & Profitability

    • Analyse sales and performance reports
    • Implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
    • Identify new opportunities to grow brand awareness
    • Monitor store expenses

     Risk & Compliance

    • Ensure store complies with company policies and procedures
    • Conduct regular checks to reduce risks

     Customer Experience

    • Maintain high customer service standards
    • Ensure a positive and consistent shopping experience

     Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead and motivate the store team
    • Train, coach, and develop staff
    • Assist with recruitment and performance management
    • Support succession planning

     Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • 2–3 years experience in a supervisory or assistant store manager role
    • Understanding of:
      • Sales and service management
      • Retail operations
