Role Overview
Agritalent’s client, a leading animal feeds subsidiary of a major agribusiness, seeks a Key Account Manager to act as the main liaison between the company and its key livestock clients. This professional will build strong client partnerships, coordinate technical and commercial support, and drive business growth through expert nutritional advice and strategic relationship management.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of animal nutrition, farm operations, and commercial feed solutions, ensuring value creation for both the company and its clients.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key clients across livestock sectors.

Provide expert nutritional and management advice using farm data to improve animal performance.

Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure efficient product delivery.

Contribute to sales forecasting and production planning through accurate demand analysis.

Lead client communication and crisis management with proactive, data-driven solutions.

Identify cross-selling opportunities and design growth strategies for key accounts.

Represent the company at grower days, technical forums, and industry events.

Support feed-related claim investigations and ensure resolutions protect business relationships.

Maintain detailed client activity reports and records through the CRM system.
Minimum Requirements

Qualification:
-
Tertiary degree in Animal Science, Animal Production, or related.

BSc Agriculture (Animal Science/Nutrition) preferred.

Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years in technical advisory or sales within the animal feed industry.

Experience with swine, beef, or poultry sectors (at least two required).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of ruminant and monogastric nutrition.

Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Business acumen: budgeting, ROI analysis, and strategic planning.

High composure under pressure and solution-oriented mindset.

Computer literate with solid CRM and reporting proficiency.

Valid Driver’s License.
