Responsibilities:

Coordinate conciliation hearings between aggrieved consumers and defendant businesses.

Maintain and regularly update a national database of sheriffs assigned to magistrate courts across various cities.

Assist the Prosecutor by gathering and compiling all relevant documentation for each case file ahead of Consumer Affairs Court sittings.

Compile and submit detailed reports on all cases that appear before the Consumer Affairs Court.

Ensure timely payment of accounts related to return of service by select bodies involved in court proceedings.

Provide administrative support services to the enforcement division.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in BCom Law, LLB, or a related legal field.

Minimum of three years’ experience handling consumer-related matters.

Knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act and other relevant consumer legislation.

Strong policy interpretation and application skills.
-
Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential.
