    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate conciliation hearings between aggrieved consumers and defendant businesses.

    • Maintain and regularly update a national database of sheriffs assigned to magistrate courts across various cities.

    • Assist the Prosecutor by gathering and compiling all relevant documentation for each case file ahead of Consumer Affairs Court sittings.

    • Compile and submit detailed reports on all cases that appear before the Consumer Affairs Court.

    • Ensure timely payment of accounts related to return of service by select bodies involved in court proceedings.

    • Provide administrative support services to the enforcement division.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in BCom Law, LLB, or a related legal field.

    • Minimum of three years’ experience handling consumer-related matters.

    • Knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act and other relevant consumer legislation.

    • Strong policy interpretation and application skills.

    • Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential.
