Responsibilities:

Lead curriculum design and the ongoing development of the BA programme

Manage and implement operational plans, academic coherence, and transformation within the programme

Oversee academic administration, quality assurance, and technological innovation

Provide research-informed learning and teaching

Offer academic and registration advice to students

Conduct own research and contribute to scholarly outputs

Lead programme marketing efforts, including planning, material development, and participation in roadshows and open days

Liaise with industry and other stakeholders to align curriculum with professional needs
Qualifications:

PhD (NQF Level 10) in a Bachelor of Arts-related or cognate discipline

Must be a full-time, permanent academic staff member in the Faculty of Humanities, Qwaqwa Campus, UFS
Preferred Experience:

Prior involvement in curriculum development or academic advisory services

Experience in academic leadership and management
