    Trade Advisor: Consumer Education and Research

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct public information sessions and awareness campaigns focused on consumer rights.

    • Develop and distribute consumer education materials to the public, businesses, and stakeholders.

    • Conduct research on emerging consumer rights issues and provide recommendations to the department.

    • Collaborate with academic institutions to integrate consumer education into their curricula.

    • Use research findings to help develop and amend consumer affairs policies and initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in BCom Law, LLB, or a related field.

    • Minimum of three years’ experience in consumer-related issues.

    • Sound understanding of the Consumer Protection Act and broader consumer legislative framework.

    • Ability to apply and interpret relevant policies and guidelines.

    • Valid driver’s license and computer literacy are essential.
