Tender Description
Setsoto Local Municipality is inviting suitably qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of office furniture and equipment for its Project Management Unit (PMU) Division.
The successful service provider will be responsible for supplying the specified furniture and ensuring delivery within the required timeframe.
Scope of Supply
The required items include:
- Executive desk with cabinets.
- Office chair.
- 2 × filing cabinets/wall units with internal shelving.
- 1 × L-shaped desk with filing cabinet.
- 2 × ergonomic high-back chairs.
Delivery Requirements
Suppliers must be able to deliver the required goods within three days of receiving the official purchase order, unless an alternative delivery period is indicated and accepted.
Bidder Requirements
Suppliers should ensure that they:
- Are registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Provide quotations valid for at least 30 days from the closing date.
- Clearly indicate the expected lead/delivery period.
- Submit relevant municipal or local-authority statements confirming that municipal accounts are not more than three months in arrears.
- Provide documentation supporting their B-BBEE status and other applicable preferential procurement or socio-economic claims.
- Complete the MBD 4 Declaration of Interest form.
- Provide supporting documentation for points claimed in relation to B-BBEE and other socio-economic objectives.
- Demonstrate the capacity to meet the required delivery timeframe.
Socio-Economic Requirements
The tender may consider participation and ownership relating to:
- Historically disadvantaged persons.
- Women.
- Youth.
- Persons with disabilities.
- Local residents.
