Tender Description
Maluti-a-Phofung Water (SOC) Ltd is inviting quotations for the supply, delivery and installation of water storage tanks and associated fittings and mechanical equipment. The equipment will be installed on municipal trucks to improve water storage and operational capacity.
Scope of Work
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
- Supplying four 5,500-litre horizontal water storage tanks.
- Supplying two suction pumps.
- Supplying heavy-duty roll frames with rubber mounting.
- Supplying suction pipes, clamps and coupling systems.
- Supplying hose tails and flange connectors.
- Transporting and delivering all equipment to the specified municipal location.
- Installing and securely mounting the tanks onto municipal trucks.
- Completing the required piping integration.
- Installing and connecting pumps and associated fittings.
- Ensuring all equipment is safely and securely fitted.
- Ensuring the completed installation meets applicable municipal quality, durability and safety requirements.

Requirements for Bidders
- Equipment must comply with the specifications provided in the tender documentation.
- Quotations must be VAT-exclusive, firm and inclusive of delivery costs.
- Suppliers must be able to provide the required equipment and associated installation services.
- Competent mechanical technicians or suitably skilled personnel should be available to safely mount the tanks, pumps and frames and complete the piping connections.
- Suppliers should comply with applicable public-sector procurement requirements, including CSD and tax compliance requirements where stipulated in the tender documents.
- All required MBD forms and supporting documentation must be completed and submitted as specified in the official RFQ documents.

This is an RFQ for both supply and installation, so bidders should ensure their pricing accounts for the equipment, transportation, mechanical installation, piping integration and secure truck mounting.
