    Job Purpose

    To lead, coach, and manage a team of Relationship Bankers to effectively execute Nedbank’s business strategy, focusing on client-centric solutions, portfolio growth, and relationship management across business, retail, and personal segments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive team performance to meet sales targets and client satisfaction goals.

    • Oversee relationship management with medium to high-value clients.

    • Ensure adherence to credit risk policies and manage client expectations.

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities.

    • Coach and mentor bankers to improve productivity and customer engagement.

    • Manage escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolutions.

    • Promote client service excellence through personalised solutions.

    • Ensure compliance with FAIS, risk management, and governance standards.

    • Build a high-performing, motivated team culture aligned with Nedbank’s Vision & Values.

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

    • Advanced Diploma or National First Degree (NQF Level 6–7) in Commerce, Business, or Finance

    Preferred:

    • Regulatory Key Individual (RE1) Qualification

    Experience Required

    • 7+ years experience in banking, sales, and people management

    • 3–4 years experience in relationship management (Retail, Commercial, or Private Banking)

    • Proven experience in credit applications and financial analysis

    Technical & Professional Knowledge

    • Financial management and analysis
