Job Purpose
To lead, coach, and manage a team of Relationship Bankers to effectively execute Nedbank’s business strategy, focusing on client-centric solutions, portfolio growth, and relationship management across business, retail, and personal segments.
Key Responsibilities

Drive team performance to meet sales targets and client satisfaction goals.

Oversee relationship management with medium to high-value clients.

Ensure adherence to credit risk policies and manage client expectations.

Identify and develop new business opportunities.

Coach and mentor bankers to improve productivity and customer engagement.

Manage escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolutions.

Promote client service excellence through personalised solutions.

Ensure compliance with FAIS, risk management, and governance standards.

Qualifications
Essential:

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
-
Advanced Diploma or National First Degree (NQF Level 6–7) in Commerce, Business, or Finance
Preferred:

Regulatory Key Individual (RE1) Qualification
Experience Required

7+ years experience in banking, sales, and people management
-
3–4 years experience in relationship management (Retail, Commercial, or Private Banking)

Proven experience in credit applications and financial analysis
