Job Overview:
The Store Manager is responsible for leading a team of associates, driving store sales performance, managing stock and expenses, and ensuring high operational and customer service standards in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage store staff to achieve sales and performance targets.
Promote and maximize store sales and turnover.
Control stock levels, monitor stock losses, and ensure accurate stock management.
Manage store expenses effectively to meet business objectives.
Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and operational procedures.
Train, coach, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
Maintain high standards of customer service, professionalism, and company culture.
Ensure store cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with legal and company standards.
Oversee store administration, reporting, and performance tracking.
Qualifications & Experience:
Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics advantageous).
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, preferably in a similar retail environment.
Excellent command of business English (verbal and written).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
