Role Overview:
The Estimator is responsible for pricing and planning logistics for roadfreight and multi-modal transport into Africa. This includes analyzing freight costs, vehicle capacity, multi-modal corridors, and related operational costs to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
Key Requirements:

Experience in road, rail, and sea freight pricing and understanding multi-modal interactions

Knowledge of Roadfreight and Multi-Modal Corridors in Africa

Strong understanding of fleet management: vehicle types, load capacities, maintenance costs

Familiarity with freight documentation and logistics platforms

Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, International Trade, or Logistics is an advantage
Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for multi-modal transport solutions

Understand and apply pricing structures across road, rail, and sea freight

Analyze fleet capacities, maintenance, and operational costs

Ensure proper documentation and compliance with logistics regulations

Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide tailored transport solutions
