    The Role: Business Central Developer

    You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative ERP solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    This role blends technical expertise with purpose — supporting an agricultural ecosystem through smart, scalable technology.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, test, and deploy Business Central extensions and integrations

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient, scalable systems

    • Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

    • Manage tickets and progress in an Agile/DevOps environment

    • Participate in stand-ups, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system or performance issues

    • Implement CI/CD automation and DevOps practices

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    • B.Sc. in Information Technology or related field OR 7 years of Business Central development experience

    • If you hold a degree: Minimum 3 years Business Central development experience

    • Solid understanding of Business Central processes and architecture

    • Experience with Azure DevOps, version control, and automation pipelines

    • Preferred certifications:

      • MB-800 (Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant)

      • MB-820 (Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer)

    Required Skills

    • Advanced experience with AL programming in Business Central

    • Strong DevOps and CI/CD knowledge

    • Excellent technical documentation and code review skills

    • Proven problem-solving and debugging ability

    • Strong communication and collaboration across technical and business teams

    • Understanding of system design, security, and performance optimization

    Work Environment

    • Base: Head Office, Reitz (Eastern Free State)

    • Hybrid flexibility: Possible remote work, with agreed in-office days per month
