Job Overview:
The Brand Head leads the strategic and operational marketing efforts for a brand portfolio at Mr Price. This includes developing marketing strategies and budgets, executing omni-channel campaigns, analyzing performance, mentoring teams, and ensuring campaigns align with consumer insights and business objectives. A strong fashion sense, strategic thinking, and leadership skills are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategic Management:
Develop measurable seasonal marketing strategies and budgets across all channels.
Align strategies with consumer insights and key research findings.
Collaborate with marketing effectiveness teams to define campaign objectives and measurables.
Compile post-campaign analyses and present findings to management.
Brief and liaise with media agencies; critically analyze media schedules.
Stay current with marketing trends and channels.
Marketing Execution:
Manage multiple omni-channel campaigns ensuring timing and process adherence.
Allocate and manage budgets per project/channel.
Analyze creative work against marketing briefs to ensure campaign effectiveness.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Mentor and guide Brand Project Managers/coordinators for high team performance.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Develop strong working relationships with creatives, production, ecommerce, merchandising, and visual teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 6+ years in a marketing position, preferably in retail.
3+ years’ experience managing teams.
Relevant Marketing qualification.
Strategic thinker with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Experience in both conceptual and operational campaign elements.
Advanced communication, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Expertise in digital, social, and creative marketing solutions.
Strong passion for fashion and understanding of the fashion industry.
