    Job Description

    Capitec Bank is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Account Analyst to join the Business Banking team in Bloemfontein. The role is designed to provide centralised, office-based support for business clients through client service, administration, credit analysis, and portfolio monitoring. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in the business banking environment, with a strong understanding of credit principles and financial analysis.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as a central contact point for client service requests and account administration.

    • Monitor and manage the performance of loan facilities in the portfolio on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

    • Assist with preparation and motivation of credit applications and facility reviews.

    • Identify cross-selling opportunities to add value to client relationships.

    • Support business bankers by ensuring all administrative aspects of accounts are handled efficiently.

    • Maintain accurate client records and follow up on outstanding documentation.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FICA and internal procedures.

    Experience Requirements

    Minimum:

    • 5+ years of total experience, with at least 1 year in a Business Banking environment.

    • Solid experience preparing and motivating credit applications.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Diploma in Commerce or Banking

    Ideal/Preferred:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce

    Knowledge Requirements

    Essential:

    • Business banking products, services, and value propositions.

    • General banking procedures and client relationship management.

    • Business and industry risk understanding.

    • Credit principles, security structures, and balance sheet analysis.

    • The Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) compliance.

    • Administration processes related to business banking.

    Preferred:

    • Competitor banking product/channel knowledge.

    • Experience with Capitec systems and business banking processes.
