Responsibilities:
Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
Identify, manage, and prevent risks to ensure patient safety
Maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records
Foster a positive and supportive experience for patients
Lead and support nursing staff through coordination and mentoring
Accurately document all utilised equipment and medical stock
Qualifications:
Essential:
Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR
4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
Desired:
Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-operative Nursing), depending on placement
Experience:
Minimum: None required
Preferred: N/A
Skills & Knowledge:
Basic Life Support training (ACLS, ATLS, PALS for specialised units)
Nursing processes and procedures
Patient assessment and risk identification
Infection prevention and control
Relevant nursing legislation
Nursing care planning, record-keeping, and pharmacology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
