Responsibilities:

Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team

Qualifications:
Essential:

Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR

4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
Desired:

Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery

Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-operative Nursing), depending on placement
Experience:

Minimum: None required

Skills & Knowledge:

Basic Life Support training (ACLS, ATLS, PALS for specialised units)

Nursing processes and procedures

Patient assessment and risk identification

Infection prevention and control

Relevant nursing legislation

Nursing care planning, record-keeping, and pharmacology

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
