Responsibilities:

Deliver quality nursing care in an ICU environment

Collaborate with multi-professional teams to manage patient care

Identify, prevent, and manage clinical risks
-
Maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records
-
Ensure optimal stock and equipment usage and charging
-
Support a learning environment to build staff competencies
-
Facilitate a patient-centered care environment
Qualifications:
-
Essential Education: Degree or Diploma in General Nursing
-
Desired Education: Midwifery or Postgraduate certificate/diploma in ICU or a relevant specialty area
Experience:

Minimum Required: None

Desired: At least 1 year of post-graduate experience in a specialized unit
Required Skills and Knowledge:

Scientific nursing principles and patient assessment skills

Nursing care processes and record keeping

Infection prevention and control
-
Basic pharmacology and relevant nursing legislation

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

Ability to develop/modify nursing care plans

Basic life support (BLS), with ACLS/ATLS/PALS preferred for specialized units

Risk identification and patient safety protocols
