    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, engage, and acquire new merchants and business clients.

    • Drive sales growth and meet turnover and revenue targets.

    • Build and manage professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

    • Negotiate pricing, finalize merchant agreements, and oversee onboarding.

    • Collaborate with Business Banking teams to execute regional sales plans.

    • Monitor market trends, analyze sales data, and recommend growth strategies.

    • Deliver superior customer service and resolve client concerns effectively.

    • Ensure full compliance with Absa’s risk and control standards.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Sales, or Business Management (NQF Level 7 preferred).

    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a client-facing role within the commercial or financial industry.

    • 3 years’ relationship management experience in financial services (preferred).

    • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required (regular travel).
