The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and comprehensive nursing care in line with professional standards and the Scope of Practice. Key Responsibilities
Deliver holistic and professional nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
Maintain accurate and detailed nursing records.
Create and maintain a positive, patient-centered environment.
Support continuous learning to enhance staff competence.
Manage and accurately charge for all equipment and stock used.
Qualifications
Essential: Degree or Diploma in General Nursing.
Desirable: Midwifery and/or a postgraduate certificate or diploma in a relevant specialty area.
Experience
Essential: No minimum experience required.
Desirable: At least 1 year of post-graduate experience before placement in a specialized unit.
Skills and Knowledge
Infection prevention and control
Pharmacology and nursing processes
Patient assessment and care planning
Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS, ATLS, or PALS for specialized units
Nursing record keeping and legal compliance
Risk identification and management
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
