Position Summary:

Clicks Group is looking for a Wellness Assistant to join their team in the Free State. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about health, nutrition, supplements, and customer service. You will be responsible for delivering expert advice, ensuring stock availability, and contributing to a healthy, customer-focused store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service through proactive in-store engagement and product advice.

• Advise customers on healthcare, nutrition, vitamins, and supplements.

• Promote and sell healthcare and wellness products, cross-sell and upsell where appropriate.

• Ensure stock availability and follow stock rotation principles to minimize wastage.

• Apply risk management procedures to prevent stock losses.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the healthcare area.

• Follow merchandising guidelines to present products attractively.

• Adhere to store Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Share product knowledge with colleagues and support service continuity when covering for others.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Essential: Matric certificate

  • Minimum 50% in English

  • Minimum 50% in Maths or 60% in Maths Literacy

  • Pass in Life Science or Physical Science

• Desirable: Qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition

Experience:

• Essential:

  • At least 1 year related experience

  • Experience in customer service and selling

• Desirable:

  • Experience with sports nutrition or vitamin products

Knowledge & Skills:

• Basic understanding of retail operations (stock, merchandising, risk)

• Basic product knowledge of health and supplements
