    Volvo Group is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to drive the sales of heavy commercial vehicles, strengthen customer relationships, and contribute to sustainable transport solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial truck sales professional who thrives in a competitive, customer-focused environment and is passionate about helping clients optimise their transport operations.

     Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development

    • Sell heavy commercial vehicles to existing and new customers.

    • Achieve sales targets while maximising profitability and volume.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow customer base.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain exceptional long-term relationships.

    • Provide expert advice and support based on customer transport and operational needs.

    • Ensure regular communication and feedback to customers and internal stakeholders.

    • Deliver excellent customer satisfaction and retention.

    Operational & Compliance Responsibilities

    • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry legislation.

    • Manage sales activities with a strong understanding of risk and financial processes.

    • Follow structured sales processes and maintain accurate documentation.

    Strategic Contribution

    • Contribute to Volvo’s sustainability and transport-solution vision.

    • Support execution of the business plan through strategic sales activities.

    • Represent the Volvo Trucks brand with professionalism, technical knowledge, and integrity.

     Minimum Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12).

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial Truck Sales.

    • Completion of an industry-specific development program.

    • Strong understanding of financial principles related to vehicle sales.

    • Sales process knowledge.

    • Product and industry knowledge (commercial trucks/transport sector).

    • Customer business and operational understanding.

    • Time-management, planning, and organisational skills.

    • Computer literacy (MS Office and CRM tools).
