This is achieved through excellent customer relationships, strong sales execution, and effective in-trade marketing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Execution
Identify customer needs and sales opportunities
Promote SAB’s value proposition to customers
Close sales and achieve volume and sales targets
Plan, organise, and prioritise sales activities
Work closely with the sales lead to implement outlet-specific plans
2. Customer Development
Manage and grow relationships with tavern owners
Conduct weekly customer visits per outlet
Ensure customers purchase directly from SAB consistently
Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate customer master data
3. AMPPS Delivery
Execute SAB’s AMPPS strategy:
Availability – ensure key brands and packs are always in stock
Merchandising – implement correct product placement and visibility
Price – ensure price compliance and correct price communication
Promotions – execute promotional campaigns throughout the year
Space – secure and protect shelf and fridge space against competitors
4. Merchandising & In-Trade Execution
Ensure correct execution of SAB merchandising guidelines (ITEG)
Manage stock rotation to avoid out-of-stocks or expired products
Execute interior and exterior signage and promotional material
Monitor competitor activity and shelf space
5. Asset Management
Manage SAB refrigeration units and other assets in outlets
Conduct asset verification and compliance audits
Ensure SAB products are correctly stocked in fridges
Manage permanent signage and merchandising equipment
6. Stock & Quality Management
Assist customers with stock planning and replenishment
Minimise stock-outs through forward planning
Ensure product quality through proper stock rotation
7. Administration & Reporting
Complete AMPPS surveys accurately and on time
Maintain updated and accurate customer data
Track outlet performance, volumes, and promotions
Report competitor insights and market trends

Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence
