Purpose of the Position:
To provide administrative support to the Branch Manager by managing daily operational tasks, ensuring effective coordination of resources, compliance with administrative requirements, and general support across the province.

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
2–3 years of basic administrative experience
PC literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid South African driver’s license (credit card type, no endorsements)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administration:
Attend and document minutes of provincial meetings
Distribute and track reports and feedback from Head Office
Maintain office consumables and order refreshments
Update internal contact lists and coordinate facilities usage
Manage event logistics and client invitations
Coordinate procurement and distribution of promotional items and stationery
Monitor and manage stock control staff
Ensure staff are properly reflected in system structures for task allocation
2. Cost Structure & Financial Administration:
Assist in cost-saving initiatives and monitor budgets
Submit staff expense claims and coordinate telecom recoveries
Maintain accurate payment registers and liaise with Finance Shared Services (FSS)
Interface with external service providers for facility and telecom needs
3. Infrastructure & Asset Management:
Ensure office readiness and maintenance
Report facility issues (e.g., leaks, lighting, carpet issues) and equipment faults
Coordinate repairs and services through OPS Connect
4. Staff Administration:
Maintain confidential staff files and coordinate leave schedules
Monitor overdue leave and liaise with managers
Facilitate HR documentation for appointments, transfers, resignations, and updates
Act as liaison for HR requests and Employee Self-Service (ESS) support
Assist with medical aid queries and corporate wear fittings
