Purpose of the Position:
The Logistics Coordinator: Special Auctions is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all logistical aspects related to BKB’s special auctions. This includes managing labour, preparing and maintaining equipment, setting up auction pens, and ensuring timely delivery and operational readiness for each auction event.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an agricultural environment

Valid EC Driver’s License

Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)

Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate labour, equipment, and pen setup for special livestock auctions

Manage wage (temporary) employees and their schedules

Ensure all auction equipment is prepared, functional, and maintained

Work closely with the Driver/Loadmaster to ensure timely transportation and delivery of equipment

Oversee the maintenance and safekeeping of all auction-related infrastructure

Handle all administrative tasks related to auction logistics and personnel
