Role Overview
Hilton is seeking a Kitchen Steward to join their kitchen team, supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while ensuring high standards of hygiene and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment in all hotel outlet kitchens.
Work within the stewarding team to meet hygiene and WHS standards.
Properly maintain and operate dishwashing machinery and kitchen equipment.
Keep kitchen storerooms clean and organized.
Work safely with chemicals for cleaning purposes.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods and rotating shifts.
Ideal Candidate
Previous cleaning or stewarding experience in a hospitality setting is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
Flexible with working weekends, early morning shifts, and rotating schedules.
