Objective
To appoint a bank registered in terms of the Bank Act, 1990 (Act No. 94 of 1990) to provide comprehensive municipal banking services supporting financial management, revenue collection, electronic payments, and service delivery operations for a 5-year term.
Scope of Services
The appointed bank will provide:

Opening and management of a primary account with linked subsidiary accounts
High-volume electronic transaction processing
EFTs, bulk payments, and payroll services
Monthly electronic statements and online access
Cash & Revenue Management
Prompt deposit and handling of municipal revenue
Cash deposit solutions and drop deposit machines
Speed point/card facilities
Identification of unallocated deposits
Electronic & Digital Banking
Secure online banking with encryption
Host-to-host connectivity
Real-time account monitoring
Fraud detection and reporting tools
Audit trails for all electronic transactions
Financial & Credit Facilities
Competitive interest rates on balances
Overdraft facilities
