Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- A National Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Safety Management
- Environmental Health
- Science
- Management
- The qualification must be at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits.
Experience Required:
- At least 3 years’ experience in the following areas:
- Fire and Emergency Management
- Contractor Management
- Occupational Hygiene and Safety
Skills and Competencies
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Technical & Professional Skills
- Knowledge of occupational safety, hygiene, and environmental risk assessments.
- Understanding of ISO and OHSAS standards for occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
As an Officer Occupational Hygiene and Safety, the selected candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:

- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in conducting occupational safety, health, and environmental risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and international safety standards.

Implement and Maintain Safety Programs
- Develop and enhance occupational hygiene and safety programs.
- Monitor compliance with ISO, OHSAS, and South African legal safety requirements.

- Assist management in improving workplace safety and hygiene standards.
