Intern – School of Accountancy (1-Year Contract)

Main Purpose of the Internship
To provide administrative and operational support to the School of Accountancy within the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and direct email enquiries, calls, and visitors

Coordinate courier and postal requests
-
Perform photocopying and scanning duties
-
Monitor and manage Copy Room stationery stock
-
Sort and count test and exam scripts
-
Assist with assessment mark administration
-
Provide filing and general administrative support
-
Assist with marketing and student recruitment initiatives
-
Support student life cycle administrative processes
-
Perform additional general office duties as required
Inherent Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Economic and Management Sciences
Selection Criteria
Applicants must:

Not be participating in another internship/learnership
-
Have no formal work experience
-
Be a South African citizen or permanent resident

Be willing to sign an internship agreement

If studying, not attend classes during office hours

Completed studies at the University of the Free State
