     Nature of the Position

    This is not a permanent post.

    Successful applicants will be placed in a candidate pool and appointed only when invigilation services are required. Appointments are:

    • Ad hoc (as needed)

    • Part-time

    • Hourly remunerated

    Being included in the pool does not guarantee appointment.

     Duties and Responsibilities

     Examination Duties

    • Monitor students to prevent cheating

    • Maintain a quiet and orderly exam environment

    • Distribute and collect exam papers

    • Announce start and end times

    • Respond to procedural queries (no academic assistance)

    • Report irregularities

    • Assist with exam preparation and administrative tasks

     Graduation & Event Support

    • Assist with venue setup and dismantling

    • Coordinate transport and arrangement of equipment

    • Support professional presentation of venues

    • Provide operational support during ceremonies

    • Assist physically where required

     Inherent Requirements

    • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) – certificate must be attached

    • Computer literacy (clearly shown in CV)

     Recommendations (Advantageous)

    • Availability during exam and graduation periods

    • Physically able to stand and walk for long periods
