TENDER DESCRIPTION
The municipality is looking to appoint a panel of contractors to:
- Maintain water reticulation systems
- Maintain bulk water infrastructure
- Ensure continuous and reliable water supply
This is a long-term infrastructure maintenance opportunity, not a once-off project.
SCOPE OF WORK
Contractors will be responsible for:
- Maintenance of water reticulation systems across all areas
- Maintenance of bulk water network infrastructure
- Repairs and ongoing support services
- Ensuring operational efficiency of water systems
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Requirements
- CIDB grading:
- 7CE or higher
- OR 6CE (if qualifying as a developing contractor)
- Meet all functionality criteria in the tender document
Experience & Capability
You must demonstrate:
- Experience in:
- Water reticulation systems
- Bulk water network maintenance
- Ability to:
- Work across multiple sites
- Respond quickly to maintenance needs
- Compliance with:
- Engineering standards
- Safety regulations
Skills Required
- Strong technical expertise in civil/water engineering
