Responsibilities:

Design, develop, maintain, and support the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS)

Install, configure, and optimize LMS instances for high availability, performance, and security
-
Manage deployment and operation of Moodle on AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFront
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and innovative solutions
-
Proactively monitor system performance and health, and address technical issues efficiently
-
Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation
-
Support end-users and provide technical training where required
Qualifications:
-
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Experience:
-
At least 5 years’ experience in application development using PHP, JavaScript, and related technologies

Minimum 5 years administering and supporting Moodle-based LMS
-
Proven experience managing Moodle environments on AWS infrastructure
-
Background in educational technology or e-learning development is highly desirable
Skills:
-
Proficient in PHP and Moodle development, including installation, configuration, and customisation

Skilled in MySQL or other relational databases (SQL queries and data management)

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation

Strong problem-solving, system troubleshooting, and communication skills

Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
