Responsibilities:
Delivering content in both physical and online classroom settings
Consulting with students and providing academic support
Marking assessments and offering constructive feedback
Analyzing results and identifying at-risk students
Applying relevant teaching and learning interventions
Participating in continuous academic improvement
Qualifications:
BEd Honours Degree specializing in Afrikaans
Experience:
1 to 3 years of lecturing experience
1 to 3 years of relevant industry-specific experience
Strong knowledge of the South African Further and Higher Education regulatory environment
Familiarity with assessment methods, teaching theory, and digital academic platforms
Key Competencies (Academic):
Solid understanding of teaching and learning theories
Ability to provide holistic student support services
Adaptability to digital learning platforms and changing academic environments
Effective time and workload management
Key Competencies (Operational):
Detail-oriented with strong customer service focus
Ability to work in a team
Deadline-driven with the ability to cope under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Working Hours:
Part-time. Classes are scheduled between 08h00 and 17h00, Monday to Friday. Actual working hours will depend on module allocation.
Salary: Market-related
