Tender Description
Letsemeng Local Municipality is inviting quotations from suitable suppliers for the supply and delivery of maintenance and operational tools and painting materials. The successful bidder will be required to supply the specified goods, enter into a written contract and ensure delivery is completed according to the agreed dates and times.
Responsibilities
The successful supplier will be responsible for:
- Supplying 12 wheelbarrows.
- Supplying 12 forks.
- Supplying 12 spades.
- Supplying 6 ten-metre pipes.
- Supplying 12 water sprays.
- Supplying 12 plastic rakes.
- Supplying 30 paint rollers and buckets.
- Supplying 15 paint brushes.
- Supplying 9 big brooms.
- Supplying 9 × 25-litre containers of yellow paint.
- Supplying 9 × 25-litre containers of white paint.
- Providing accurate delivery dates and times.
- Ensuring goods are delivered within the agreed timeframe.
- Complying with all municipal procurement and contractual requirements.
- Maintaining the quotation validity period of at least 90 days.
Requirements
Bidders must:
- Submit a sealed quotation using the official municipal forms.
- Clearly mark the quotation with the correct reference number and description.
- Provide an original Tax Clearance Certificate or PIN.
- Submit a Central Supplier Database (CSD) report.
- Provide company registration documents.
- Provide proof that municipal rates and taxes are not overdue by more than three months.
- Provide lease agreements for the company and its directors.
- Complete the pricing schedule, including brand, model, country of origin, specification compliance and delivery period.
- Complete all required Municipal Bidding Document (MBD) annexures and declarations.
- Provide supporting documentation for any preference-point claims.
- Demonstrate the ability to source and deliver the required tools and painting materials.
- Have suitable administrative and logistical capacity to ensure punctual delivery.
- Comply with South African public procurement requirements and CSD and SARS compliance procedures.
