Job Purpose
To creatively design, set up, and maintain visually appealing window and in-store displays that enhance Truworths’ brand image, attract customers, and drive sales. The Window Dresser plays a vital role in promoting fashion trends and ensuring that all visual merchandising standards align with Truworths’ commitment to fashion, quality, and customer service excellence.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant experience as a Window Dresser or Visual Merchandiser.
Proven skills in display construction (building, painting, wiring, dressing).
Ability to understand and follow implementation manuals and display guidelines.
Valid driver’s licence.

Creative fashion sense and ability to interpret fashion trends.
Strong sense of balance, proportion, and colour coordination.
Excellent planning, decision-making, and time management skills.
Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, bending, and stretching.

Diligent in maintaining and storing models, props, and display materials.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement creative window and in-store displays in line with Truworths’ brand standards.
Ensure all display areas are clean, organised, and visually appealing.
Monitor and update displays in line with promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new merchandise launches.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions, fashion trends, and store initiatives.
Enhance Truworths’ image through professional conduct, personal appearance, and customer interactions.
Assist management and staff with fashion, promotion, and trend-related queries.
Handle customer or staff inquiries about displayed merchandise in a professional manner.
Follow all security procedures and store safety policies (OHASA).
Complete administrative documentation and display records accurately.
Participate in training and actively apply new visual merchandising techniques.
Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve overall display and sales objectives.
