About the Role:
Pro-Cool Solutions is seeking a skilled Technician to join their Bloemfontein team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of commercial and domestic refrigeration systems, as well as air-conditioning units. The role requires technical experience, the ability to work independently and in a team, and a flexible, hands-on attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning systems (commercial & domestic).
Lead or collaborate with a team on-site for installation or repairs.
Travel for projects outside Bloemfontein when required.
Communicate and report effectively on technical issues and project progress.
Ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
Work overtime when necessary to meet client needs or deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience in refrigeration (commercial & domestic) and air-conditioning.
Valid driver’s license.
Advantageous: Gas handling license or relevant industry certifications.
Must reside in Bloemfontein.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to manage and lead a team.
Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel and work outside Bloemfontein when required.
