Introduction
Kempston Employment Solutions seeks a Service Technician residing in Bloemfontein to perform repairs, maintenance, inspections, and client support for a range of technical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Repair, service, and restore equipment to full working condition
Perform annual maintenance on demo equipment
Conduct field inspections, quality reports, and assessments
Follow warranty procedures and complete job cards for repairs
Plan and execute weekly schedules and country trips for services
Provide quotations for replacement parts and keep service records updated
Communicate schedules with hospitals and respond to service queries
Build and maintain strong customer and service partner relationships
Adhere to safety and quality standards for all Arjo products
Maintain and manage company vehicle, mileage logs, tools, and testing equipment
Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric (minimum)
3+ years technical experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
2+ years field service experience
Proficient in MS Excel & Outlook
Valid driver’s license (Code 08/EB); PDP is an advantage
At least 2 years of driving experience with a company vehicle
Ability to read technical schematics and diagrams
Self-motivated, independent, and time-efficient
Willingness to work after-hours and travel nationally when needed
Strong customer service orientation and business acumen
Additional Notes
Must be able to manage tools and vehicle maintenance
Required to submit daily reports and track service records
