Job Purpose:
The Scheduler will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of raw materials and finished goods across local and international markets. This includes inbound logistics, outbound dispatch, internal transfers, and liaising with clients and teams to implement daily scheduling plans. The ideal candidate is highly organized, fluent in English and Afrikaans, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Scheduling:

Schedule inbound raw materials and outbound product deliveries

Coordinate inter-depot transfers and internal logistics
-
Communicate scheduling plans to the production team

Manage receiving and allocation of raw materials
Client & Contractor Liaison:
-
Liaise with clients and agents to build scheduling strategies

Oversee contracts and daily interactions with transport contractors

Arrange transport and manage logistics documentation
Data & Documentation:
-
Maintain and archive records for all logistics-related transactions

Manage packaging data within allocation plans

Allocate stock to the appropriate business units
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
-
Matric (compulsory)
-
Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (advantageous)
Experience:
-
Previous experience in logistics/scheduling/supply chain roles (essential)
Language:
-
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
Computer Skills:

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
