Job Purpose
This is a training-focused role where you gain hands-on experience in electrical work while working under qualified electricians. The goal is to build your skills and prepare you for a career as a professional electrician.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Work & Learning
- Assist with installing electrical systems
- Help maintain and repair electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical faults with the team
Practical Training
- Work under experienced electricians
- Attend training programmes and courses
- Learn electrical codes and safety regulations
Tools & Equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Handle materials and equipment safely
- Keep records of work done
Safety & Work Environment
- Follow strict safety procedures
- Work in different conditions:
- Heights
- Confined spaces
- Lift equipment (up to 23kg)
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NCV Level 4
- Electrical qualification (N3 / N4 / N5 / N6)
- Valid driver’s licence
If you don’t have an electrical qualification, you will NOT qualify.
Recommended (Advantageous)
- Basic knowledge of:
- Electrical wiring
- Electrical systems
- Safety standards
- Ability to read electrical diagrams
- Experience using tools

Salary / Stipend

Important: This is a stipend (training allowance), not a full salary.
