Tender Description
The Department requires a service provider to deliver full catering services, including meals, beverages, transport, and setup for a workshop event.
Scope of Work
Day 1 – 22 April 2026
- Catering for 25 people
Day 2 – 23 April 2026
- Catering for 40 people
Services Required
- Breakfast (coffee, tea, muffins, sandwiches)
- Lunch (samp, rice, salads, vegetables, roasted chicken, beef stew)
- Beverages (soft drinks, coffee, rooibos, milk, sugar)
- Supply of cutlery and serving equipment
- Setup and service at venue
- Transportation (±20 km per day)
Technical Requirements
- Follow specified menu requirements
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Provide all catering equipment and supplies
- Ensure timely delivery and service
- Comply with health and safety regulations
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in event or government catering
- Ability to cater for medium-sized groups (25–40 people)
- Strong logistics and time management
- Trained staff with food safety knowledge
- Ability to handle setup, serving, and cleanup
