QuickStart is a global leader in Cyber Security talent development, supporting students through IT bootcamps and helping them secure cybersecurity careers. This role plays a crucial part in guiding, coaching, and preparing students for employment.
Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement & Coaching
Manage a caseload of IT bootcamp students from onboarding to job placement
Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions (résumé guidance, LinkedIn optimisation, interview prep, job search strategy, career pathing)
Deliver group training sessions—educational/Q&A
Teach students how to use QuickStart’s career tools (Prentus, Enhancv, Pepelwerk, Stellarworx)
Monitor student progress, set goals, and maintain accountability
Review jobseeker profiles for readiness and visibility
Track student outcomes, placement progress, and satisfaction data
Encourage alumni engagement, including mentorship participation
Employer & Partner Engagement
Initiate and maintain relationships with employer partners
Promote qualified students to employers
Develop and manage an employer database
Conduct follow-up meetings with employers and placed alumni within 3 months
Team & Administrative Duties
Attend team meetings and contribute to program improvements
Maintain detailed notes for each student interaction
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
Support overall placement goals and career services performance
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Management or Human Resources
Strong knowledge and use of LinkedIn
Comfortable delivering live virtual presentations
2+ years’ experience in coaching or counseling
1+ year remote work experience in a relationship-focused, customer-facing role
Excellent English communication skills
Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and ability to build rapport
Ability to learn new digital tools quickly
