    ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

    Job Title: Administrative Clerk
    Company: Free State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development
    Location: Glen (Transport Services and Facilities Management), Free State, South Africa
    Employment Type: Full-time

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide general clerical support including data entry, document filing, and handling correspondence

    • Update registers and maintain statistical records

    • Distribute documents and manage photocopying, faxing, and typing tasks

    • Maintain incoming and outgoing registers

    • Assist with procurement: obtain quotations and complete purchase forms

    • Manage stock control and maintain the asset register

    • Support personnel administration: manage leave and attendance registers, book travel and accommodation

    • Assist with financial administration: update expenditures, verify travel claims, and handle petty cash and telephone accounts

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

    • No previous work experience required
