QPro Feeds, a division of VKB Group, specializes in the production of high-quality animal feed from facilities in Bethlehem and Vrede, serving both internal and external clients in the monogastric and ruminant sectors.
Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Assistant will play a key role in the finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier payments and invoice reconciliations in line with VKB’s financial procedures.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Proficient in financial management systems (e.g., Navision, Business Central, Sage)

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
Key Responsibilities:
-
Manage reception: handle incoming calls, greet visitors, and manage courier collections/deliveries
-
Open purchase orders in NAV using authorized documents
-
Capture and process supplier invoices daily, ensuring all are compliant with tax and financial requirements

Match invoices with purchase orders and quotes
-
Liaise with suppliers to obtain missing invoices or statements and resolve outstanding queries

Process credit memos and maintain clear communication with suppliers

Maintain control of open purchase orders, prepayments, and goods received but not invoiced

Assist with general office admin and procurement of supplies

Support ad-hoc finance tasks and department needs
