Responsibilities:

Teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in Social Sciences and/or Commerce Education.

Lead curriculum development and ensure research excellence.

Provide academic leadership and manage departmental operations including budgeting, staff development, and strategic planning.

Enhance departmental visibility and foster a research-driven academic culture.

Contribute to faculty and university management structures and initiatives.
Qualifications:
For Associate Professor:
-
Doctoral degree in Education (relevant to Social Sciences/Commerce Education).

Recognized research and teaching leadership with peer-reviewed publications.
-
Supervision of master’s/doctoral students.
-
NRF rating or potential.
-
Participation in national scholarly societies and editorial boards.
For Professor:
-
Doctoral degree in Education (relevant to Social Sciences/Commerce Education).

Proven international recognition and leadership in academic research.
-
Supervision of master’s and doctoral graduates.
-
NRF rating or demonstrable potential.
-
Experience in keynote speaking and leading scholarly projects.
Recommended:
