    Purpose of the Role

    The Sales Representative: New Vehicles is responsible for generating sales, building customer relationships, and helping customers select suitable commercial vehicles that meet their business or personal needs. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and contributing to the dealership’s growth and profitability.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales and Business Development

    • Prospect and generate new sales leads.
    • Identify new business opportunities through:

    • Build and maintain a strong customer pipeline.
    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

    Customer Consultation and Vehicle Sales

    • Assess customer needs and requirements.

    • Guide customers through the complete sales process.
    • Provide professional product knowledge and advice.

    Vehicle Demonstrations

    • Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and demonstrations.

    • Highlight value-added services and benefits.

    Negotiation and Deal Closure

    • Prepare quotations and sales proposals.
    • Negotiate pricing and financing options where applicable.
    • Close sales transactions successfully.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
    • Conduct post-sale follow-ups.

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
    • Additional studies in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field will be advantageous.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2–3 years’ successful automotive sales experience.
    • Proven sales track record within the motor industry.

    Licensing

    • Valid South African Driver’s Licence.
    • Clean driving record.
